Family Self-Sufficiency

For more information about this group please contact Faith Kopplin at

The Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) program is a HUD affiliate which is designed to help families living in public housing gain skills that will assist them in obtaining further education ( a high school diploma, GED, a 2 year or 4 year degree), budget management, social and business skills, parenting guidance and employment to achieve economic independence.

Since 1991 our church has provided a meal and meeting space for families who are participants in FSS. We meet the 3rd Thursday of each month from 5:20 – 7:00 PM. If you would like to help with meal preparation and serving, or childcare, please contact Faith Kopplin (254) 776-3737 or
